Kevin Motley has been a resident of Bowie for 12 years. Kevin is happily married to his wife of 25 years. He is also the father of 4 daughters. 2 Bowie High School grads and 2 currently enrolled in public school in Bowie in the Prince Georges County school system.
Kevin Motley's love for people has been a passion from a young age. Kevin Motley is an advocate and voice for the displaced, drug addicted and homeless people in the DC area. Kevin is currently the overseer of outreach for Friendship Cares Community Resource Center in Capital Heights which supplies food, clothes and utility resources in the community. He is the host and producer of his own radio show "Black Sheep Radio" on WBGR which is an informative outlet and showcase for up an comings in the metropolitan area. Kevin was president of IBWYU of The Southern District from 2010-2013. Kevin was a youth minister from 2009-2013 at Friendship Church Outreach Ministries and currently holds the title of Elder because of his work and compassion for people in need of spiritual guidance. Kevin spearheaded a youth initiative from
2009-2014 called Area 51 Ministries in which neighborhoods and city leaders from the DMV to Raleigh NC have used as methods to reach the millennials, deal with teen issues and curb neighborhood violence through music and dialogue. Kevin Motley was apart of Christopher Tate's Mens Prison Ministry from 2011-2012. He is currently active in Princeton Squares HOA. Kevin gets up everyday like you and works a 9-5 as an Ironworker. He is an upstanding 22 year active member of Union Ironworkers Local #5 here in DC which proves getting the job done and hard work is a way of life for him.
